Silhill 1st team before the kick-off in the BCFA stadium, Ray Hall Lane, Great Barr, of the 2008 Birmingham County FA Saturday Junior Cup Final on 29th March. Braving persistent rain, they defeated Billesley United 3-2 to lift this trophy for the first time in Silhill’s 100-year history.

Silhill 4th team celebrate at the Old Dorkinians Sports Club, Pixham Lane, Dorking, Surrey, on 29th March, after winning the 2008 London Minor Cup Final. Despite heavy rain, they defeated strongly supported Essex team Bealonians from the Amateur Football Combination Div.4 North 2-0 :-
